Tears in the Shower: Untold Stories of Caregiving

If you’ve ever held it together for everyone else—only to fall apart when the day was finally quiet—this podcast was created with you in mind.

Tears in the Shower: Untold Stories of Caregiving is my podcast, born from years of walking alongside families, caregivers, and patients through serious illness, loss, and life-changing transitions. As a palliative care nurse practitioner, end-of-life doula, and Quality of Life Navigator, this is where I create space for honest conversations about caregiving and quality of life.

In this podcast, I will be interviewing people from all walks of life—family caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and everyday individuals whose stories may never be widely known, but whose experiences matter deeply. Some are well known, some are working class, some are clinical, and all are simply doing the best they can for someone they love. Caregiving touches us all, and every story deserves to be heard.

Together, we talk openly about the realities of caregiving—the love, the exhaustion, the grief, the resilience, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Some episodes will feel like a gentle exhale. Others may offer education, reflection, or practical tools to help you navigate your own journey with more clarity and compassion.

My hope is that when you listen, you feel seen, validated, and less alone. Whether you are caring for a loved one, navigating serious illness, working in healthcare, or walking beside someone you love, we see you and you are welcome in this space.

Thank you for being here. I invite you to listen, subscribe, and join this growing community focused on quality of life, compassionate care, and showing up honestly—especially when it’s hard.
