Caregiver + Loved One

Support

Ongoing guidance for caregivers who want steady support as circumstances evolve.

Caregiving does not happen in a single moment. Needs change, emotions shift, and decisions often unfold over time.

Caregiver + Loved One Support offers a series of sessions designed to provide continuity, reflection, and guidance as you navigate caregiving alongside your loved one.

This option allows for deeper support over time and may include sessions with the caregiver alone, the caregiver and loved one together, or a combination — depending on comfort and needs.

WHO THIS OPTION IS FOR

This support option may be a good fit if you:

  • are navigating progressive illness or ongoing decline

  • anticipate upcoming transitions or complex decisions

  • want consistent guidance rather than one-time support

  • feel emotionally depleted and need steadier support

  • value having a trusted support presence over time

You do not need to know exactly what support will look like at the beginning. This option allows space for needs to emerge and evolve.

WHAT ONGOING SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE

Support is individualized and responsive. Sessions may include:

  • revisiting priorities as situations change

  • processing decisions and emotional responses

  • preparing for conversations or transitions

  • supporting communication between caregiver and loved one

  • addressing caregiver fatigue and stress

  • centering quality of life for both caregiver and loved one

Support is paced intentionally and adjusted as needed.

HOW SUPPORT IS STRUCTURED

  • Four (4) 60-minute sessions

  • Conducted virtually

  • Flexible scheduling over an agreed-upon time period

  • Sessions may include:

    • caregiver-only support

    • caregiver + loved one sessions

    • or a combination, based on preference

This structure allows for continuity while honoring changing needs.

**OPTIONAL WELL-BEING SUPPORT

(Only Available in Person)

Some caregivers and loved ones choose to include optional Virtual Reality (VR) well-being support as part of ongoing support.

These guided, immersive experiences may help:

  • support calm and grounding during periods of emotional distress

  • reduce anxiety or agitation for caregivers or loved ones

  • provide a sense of presence, peace, or gentle distraction during difficult moments

VR well-being support is not medical treatment or therapy. It is an optional tool that may be used to support emotional regulation and comfort, particularly when stress feels physically overwhelming or when verbal processing is difficult.

Use of VR is always optional and tailored to comfort, preference, and individual needs
